About the project

Voice for Change was designed to improve the social and economic well-being of adolescent girls and young women aged 15–28 in Rukwa Region. It addressed gender-based violence, barriers to reproductive health services and economic dependency through practical skills and knowledge training.

The opportunity

Safety, health and economic agency reinforce one another.

Violence, limited health access and economic dependency can compound one another in the lives of girls and young women. Voice for Change brought these issues into one connected response focused on knowledge, skills and access.
